This Is Write Mind

Write Mind is a team. A modern company that does not adhere to a hierarchical structure, but to a flat organisation. Every single member is valued and every pen writes equally. Write Mind has its origins in the Dutch entrepreneurial culture: endless ambition serves client satisfaction. A transparent, open communication stimulates state-of-the-art innovation. That’s what we believe in, and this is who we are:

Casper van der Spek
The Mind Behind the Company

Casper has an inherent love for language. As a teenager, he carefully analyzed rap lyrics and today he writes in any color you like. He’s also a performance psychologist (MSc) and certified English teacher. He likes to crawl into the mind of the customer to deliver the most fitting content possible.

Bart Fennis
Write Mind’s Right Hand

Bart is a law-educated entrepreneur, with a ‘Sherlock Holmes eye’ for detail and a passion for doing business. Finding the best outcome for every party is his specialism. He ties loose ends together as if he ties his shoelaces.

My favorite quote: “Easy reading is damn hard writing.” I believe this is true. So write your draft and then read it again, again, and again. Make corrections, until it becomes easy reading.

What advice would you give to a beginning writer? Write a lot and write often. Even about things that you don’t like, because that’s exactly how you train yourself!

Some piece of advice I’d give to new and up and coming writers is to give yourself time to immerse yourself in the field before you start writing a piece.

If you want to be a writer, just start writing and reading daily and the rest will fall into place.
